What's New at Epcot's Food & Wine Festival 2015
The Food & Wine Festival at Disney’s Epcot is back! The popular festival is celebrating its 20th year anniversary and will be held from September 25 to November 16, 2015. To celebrate, this year’s festival will include new experiences that all food and wine lovers will enjoy. Not only will you be able to sample over 75 kinds of food from all over the world but now you can dine with your favorite celebrity guest too! Experience New Flavors!
New marketplace booths are expanding into Future World! The new area will be themed The Chew and will be called Next Eats. This year there are two new booths called Sustainable Chew Marketplace & Chew Lab. For the first time, festival goers will be able to sample three unique dishes from the chefs of the ABC’s hit show The Chew at the brand new The Sustainable Chew Marketplace. The food options will include Savory Pork Spareribs with Cheesy Mascarpone Grits, Ricotta & Zucchini Ravioli with Tomato Sauce, and Vanilla Panna Cotta with Fresh Figs and Pistachio Brittle. The Chew Lab will be a marketplace inspired by food-science labs and food tech trends. Festival goers will also be able to experience new Caribbean flavors from the Dominican Republic with tasty options such as Lechon Asado (Roasted Pork) and Pescado con coco (Fish with Coconut).
Be Part of the Show "The Chew"
Want to meet your favorite host from the popular ABC show “The Chew”? Well...now you can! Be part of the live taping of "The Chew" taking place at the festival on October 7, 8, and 9. Hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Daphne Oz will be on hand to tape the episodes that will air October 12-16. Wine & Cheese Lovers Rejoice!
Celebrate wine and cheese in a brand new area in Future World. Expand your palate and explore a variety of unique flavors at this year’s new Wine and Cheese Studio. The Wine Studio will feature popular wines from California including Acacia Pinot Noir, Dry Creek Zinfandel, and Line 39 Cabernet Sauvignon. Don’t forget to pair your wine with some delicious cheeses. The Cheese Studio will feature a variety of artisan cheeses that will sure please the crowd. Highlights include Karst cave-aged cheese served with honey, Sweet goat cheese panna cotta with guave gelle, and Rogue Creamery Oregon Blue Cheese with berry port compote.
Meet Your Favorite Celebrity Guest!
What’s Cookin’ With… is a new dining experience that will give festival goers an opportunity to meet and dine with their favorite celebrity guest. What’s Cookin’ With…includes a plated brunch hosted by a celebrity guest and will take place during the weekends starting at the end of September to the middle of November. Celebrities include Andrew Zimmern from Bizarre Foods, Amanda Freitag from popular Food network shows such as Chopped, Robert Irvine from Food Network and more! Theme park admission and advance reservation are required.
